Project Ghana 2020 x MSNLazer
Less than a week away until Christmas, millions of children around the globe, naughty or nice, will wake up without gifts. That’s why MSNLazer has partnered with Project Ghana, bringing the kids the train sets and bicycles they deserve.
Project Ghana is a charitable initiative started by Akil Thomas’ family to raise money for an orphanage in Ghana where local hero, Addo, took in 193 abandoned boys and girls off the streets of Jamestown. This year Addo and Project Ghana plan to provide some Christmas cheer for the first time ever in their young lives. The Christmas spirit goes strong in Ghana and reminds us of why we celebrate it. They dress up in colourful, traditional Ghanaian threads, sing, dance and do all that other jolly stuff for a whole week, remembering the true meaning of Christmas. This puts a lot in perspective for a Canadian kid who would ruin Christmas if he didn’t get the new PlayStation.
MSN always aims to give back - especially this time of year. With an integral member of MSNLazer originating from Ghana and our latest partnership with Akil, this campaign was a no-brainer. Collins was born in Ghana and has spent the last decade adding his creative touch to every product at MSNLazer. Every dime he makes goes back home to the motherland and he never lets us forget where that is. With his creative input and years of experience in woodwork at MSNLazer, we have collaborated with Akil to create the perfect product that combines the hockey world with African heritage, with all proceeds going towards Project Ghana.
This one of a kind piece of memorabilia is available on auction RIGHT NOW on the MSN Lazer website. Check it out and place your bids HERE before it's too late! (Auction closes at midnight on December 23rd, 2020).
This year, make sure your gifts make an impact.
